Family Communications, Part Deux

"TAYLOR!"

"what?"

"TAYLOR!"

"WHAT?"

"TAYLOR!!!"

"WHAAAAATTTTT??????"

"COME HERE!!"

shuffle... shuffle.... "what?"

"It is customary, when a parent calls and doesn't say anything in conjunction with your name, for you, the 'call-ee' to come to the parent, the 'call-er,' and then to ask 'What, dear parent, may I do for you?'"

Good luck with that. Or if you prefer, ala Dr. Phil, "How's that working for you?"

The three year old has that problem and sometimes, so do I when my darling wife calls me. :-)

My brother Doug says stuff like that to his kids. It's pretty funny. I don't usually say "How's the working for you?" but I have said "Good luck with that."

Of course, in this instance I was the one that needed something to work. Taylor is sure a funny kid. Don't know where he gets it from!
