Did they lean on each other in life? Any inscriptions that might have been on these tombstones have been completely obliterated by time and weather.
We found Old Stone Cemetery in Fort Lawn, S.C. on highway 21. We were on our way to Landsford Canal State Park to see the spider lilies.
We arrived at the perfect time of day. The sun was low and thinking about setting and the shadows and filters of light really brought a wonderful atmosphere to this old burial ground.
